Simple, easy things you’ll enjoy doing to protect our beautiful, natural world.

Have Fun - Get Outdoors:

  • Be in Nature and discover its magic. It’s all around us, in our cities, backyards and public lands.

  • Become a Citizen Scientist: observe, record and upload what you discover. Join an online community that creates and contributes useful data: iNaturalist.org

  • Invite nature home. Plant native wildflowers and grasses to attract butterflies, birds and other beneficial creatures.

  • Volunteer to remove invasive plants and help maintain local, state and national public lands.

  • Join the California Native Plant Society. Find beautiful wildflowers on walks with your local chapter members.
